A strictly limited capacity audiophile experience, ‘Classic Contemporary’ turns the intimate environs of the Shell House Sky Bar into a feast for the senses.

We play a legendary album from end-to-end, on the finest record players and amplification that money can buy. The Shell House Band, a live 3-piece led by legendary drummer Julian Sudek (World Champion, Genesis Owusu) and a rotating cast of some of Australia’s finest musicians perform fresh and propulsive re-interpretations of these standards late into the night. Jazz rhythms and luscious melodies, the perfect accompaniment to the beautiful city skyline view from the top of Shell House.
