Clocktower Bar

A truly unique experience on level 9 of Shell House.

Housed within the 400-tonne iconic clock, The Clocktower Bar is an immersive space lined in timber joinery to capture the heritage and the grandeur of the 1930’s Art Deco period, and its Italianate architecture. The room is elevated and animated by the soaring void of the clocktower above, along with the fully restored and operating clock mechanisms.

This indulgent bar is a truly unique destination within Shell House, exploring the depth of classic cocktails and understanding the
grand old story of Shell House.

Monday 5.30 pm until late

Tuesday to Saturday from 12 pm until late

We are open on the evening of New Years Eve, Sunday December 31st

Closed Sunday 24.12, Monday 25.12, Tuesday 26.12 & Monday 1.1

Menzies Bar is open Monday to Friday from 12 pm until late, and Saturday 4 pm until late.

Please note you can make a reservation with us at Menzies for either full table service for lunch or dinner,

or simply seats in our casual area where you order from the bar yourself. Please ensure you choose the correct option for you.
